 With regards to the above subject after completeing my apprenticeship I joined the MN after a few days out at sea there was Curry on the menu up to that time I had never tasted Curry in my life, old Harry Rigden the Third Engineer, some of you may have heard of him, he had been at sea for forty years when we joined the ship together, he said have you ever tasted Curry John which I hadn't, his reply was I dont think you will like it as it is an aquired taste, I ate it, loved it & have at least one a week ever since, that's a lot of Curries.
