Subject: Oh, my hospital's lay offs came only 6 months after opening a brand new state of the art new hospital! My department, L&D was not a part of the new addition. So they sacrifice staff for "things."

This last week, my hospital laid off many employees, eliminated positions in my department, and strongly encouraged people to take the early retirement. So sad. Then my brother-in-law was laid off after 38 years with his company. He's 61 and where does he get another job. They didn't even offer him severance." on 06:10:18 03/31/11 Thu
