You have all be there for others, I am asking you to be there for me. My heart is broken. My Mother died around 4:00am today. Tears are pouring out. I lived with her my whole life and I realize that kept her going for the past years. She didn't want to want to be in a nursing home as it was with her mother. I just can't control my crying and she told me that I was stronger that I realize and everything would be ok. You guys have be great to talk with and someday I would like to meet all of you. -- Buckiles, 11:28:47 04/19/09 Sun [19]
I was thinking of you, Carol, just after she passed. and I wondered how I am going to get through this. I lived in the same house and I feel that she is still there. I believe she knew it was coming and had her will redone and filed to have the house tranfered to me on Friday. It was her time to go. (NT) -- Buckiles, 06:30:18 04/22/09 Wed
Considering what you're going through right now, Buckiles, I'm touched that you could even think of *me* at all. I'll say it again: Bless You. My Mom had been making references to "not being around much longer" based on how she was feeling, and I could see the decline in her as well. I truly believe she was trying to "stick around" for my sake. I knew she was praying to God to die, though. My Mom also left me the house, and I'm currently working on settling her Trust/Estate now. You are welcome to email me if you just want to "talk". Take care. (NT) -- Matou/Carol, 17:18:53 04/22/09 Wed
My sister has to go back to her house( in another town) for a few days and wants me to go with her her. I might do that. Its been so hard and I keep playing back the Saturday phone calls mom made to me from the hospital. She seem to be doing ok. I understand that as time goes by it will get easier, as it did when my father died 30 years ago. It will be hard going back to work because she used to work in the same office before she had to retire because of her health. Its going to be so very hard. I just wish I could hug her again. I agree with ALL the comments above. A big thank you ! (NT) -- Laurence, France, 05:35:09 04/14/09 Tue
I would like to add also : I know that the USA made a black list of countries to where not to go.I DON'T understand people who DON'T RESPECT this list. They KNOW what RISKS they incur, they MUST pay these armed interventions !Again a big thank you to these men & women who serve our countries ! Rhonda: I don't post very much either, but you will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless. (NT) -- Greta, 15:27:34 03/22/09 Sun
JJ, I know what it's like to be down to our last pennies. What got us through was a lack of debt, but it was still hard. I used to walk by shops in the mall and just not look in the windown. It's not so bad when you stop wanting unnecessary things. Just keep it to food and roof over your head, with the occasional treat, and enjoy being young and healthy. This too will pass, and you'll be stronger for it. AND you will have learnt how to survive. Good luck! (Inside on Grandmother.) -- Cece, who used to say I'm suffering from purchase interruptus.", 19:06:38 03/22/09 Sun
The sun does return -- at least that's what I'm being told. You have my total empathy. I, too, am going through the 'process' you are experiencing with your grandmother's situation, only its with my 91-year old Mom -- in assisted living and has fallen twice since this past Saturday. Mom had lived in her home for 58 years and collected things from the last four generations. I'm in this alone since my only sister lives on the West coast -- we're in Virginia. -- carramor, 20:19:29 04/06/09 Mon

A friendly hint to posters. If you think your words sound a little harsh, and you don't mean them to, think about using the little emoticons. Sometimes a smile or a wink soften the words. -- Cece, 12:15:58 03/20/09 Fri [14]
LOL...I'm not talking about having a Luoodles parade! I just mean the emoticons in the posting window, where it says "Choose Message Icon." The drop down gives you a small choice to go next to your subject. (NT) -- Cece (See, I'm yawning...!), 12:33:26 03/20/09 Fri
Oh my! A blast from the past. That is the funniest line, first seen in Luoodle's "Mission" Chapter 1, starring the Chief and Dancer (and Lou's dog!) (NT) -- Cece, 16:19:20 03/21/09 Sat
How's this...;-P (NT) -- TH, 15:05:27 03/20/09 Fri
Or this? (NT) -- Cece, 15:51:45 03/20/09 Fri
Sorry for taking board space (again), but *Cec*- will you email me please? (NT) -- Matou/Carol, 17:16:08 03/20/09 Fri
