Subject: Things to Pitch, Things to Keep

Spring cleaning for many households means a time to sort, throw away or donate old or no longer used items.

What piece of furniture, item of clothing, or other thing in your household have you consistently thought about throwing away/donating but never have yet?

Conversely, what have you thrown away or donated that in hindsight you wish you would have kept?

And no, not your spouse. . . .LOL!

Not anymore since several months . Well I've begun with the attic and then my bedroom. I sort out what I keep and what I don't. The more I find things I don't want to keep the more I'm happy and feel relieved and say goodbyes for good to the past. What I do of the stuff I don't keep : I keep some to give to friends or charity , or to sell on fleas - markets to make money, or I go to the waste-collector center, or I burn it when it's too personnal ( certains papers for ex ), I've donated some to a well known charity, but knowing more how ' they ' work I now better prefer to keep the stuff for myself. Well, it would be my decision if I was rulling the house at home .

[> A couple years ago, our school's band director asked me to launder/clean a set of nylon wraps for the drums. I had them in a lage black trash bag, and they were black. In a large fit of clearing out our laundry/storage area, they disappeared. We think my hubby took them to the donation bin with some other bags of clothes... without asking me to double check everything first. Ooops.... I felt super horrible about THAT. -- The Chief, 07:14:39 05/07/13 Tue [1]
