Tragic news about mama eagle -- Sunset, 15:34:28 04/26/11 Tue [7]
Oh, no! I hadn't been keeping up - life's been so busy... Oh, I'm so sad! I wonder what this means for the eaglets? How close are they to fledging and will they survive w/one parent? Will the father keep on keepin' on, or will he leave in mourning? Thank you for letting us know, Sunset. (NT) -- The Chief (not what I needed to hear at this hour of the night...), 21:26:19 04/29/11 Fri
Deemus, does your offer concerning the cookies still stand ?? I know than The Chief's post dated from february, but I don't know why, I always forgotten to contact you. I'm so sorry, so I hope the offer still stands. Here the recipes I've : Onion Soup/ Olive&tuna cake/Pigeon w/peas/ Cheese soufflé/Foie Gras/filet of duck/duck breast/Burgundian Quiche/Salmon Quiche/Niçoise Salad/ Pot au Feu/ Poule au Pot/ Blanquette de veau -- Laurence ( of course, if some others are interested to have them, don't hesitate to make me a sign ), 17:32:46 05/05/11 Thu [3]
You know me. My DH and I lived together for six years at a time when it just wasn't done by middle class people. Then we got married Dec. 31 1976, and are still married 34 yrs later. However, I'm not recommending living together casually. I believe in the committment of marriage. As for William and Kate, they appear to be in love, and have not jumped into this. And it clearly isn't an arranged marriage. I watched the wedding and loved it.. (NT) -- Cece, 11:54:24 04/29/11 Fri

Hello everyone ! I'm wondering if it would be ok to post a link from a native American lady who's married to a French man and lives in France and who keep a private/personal diary on the web. -- Laurence, 08:53:19 04/20/11 Wed [2]
Go ahead, Laurence. It should be interesting so some. Also, is the woman a "Native American" (i.e. descended from those who were here before the English)? Or is she a "natural born US Citizen"? Just want to be sure I'm clear. (NT) -- The Chief, 21:11:45 04/22/11 Fri
Has anyone been to a dude or guest ranch, if so, where did you go? I'm thinking of going to one in Arizona. I want to know about what you liked and disliked if you went to one. -- Buckiles, 14:49:57 04/15/11 Fri [8]
The Hits just keep on coming. My Husband, Mike got laid off from work yesterday. It's the first time he has been without a job in 40 yrs. He's wondering around trying to figure out what to do next. He is a diabetic and has depression. He's afraid no one will hire him at 59 yrs. with his health problems. But, he did up date his resume today and started sending them out. We both need health insurance. I'm on Disiably after working for 38 yrs. Life has been tough since 2007 and doesn't seem to be getting better. Thanks for listening to me vent. -- Cathy F. God will provide hopefully!, 23:12:43 03/30/11 Wed [25]
Thanks Everyone for your prayers and good wishes. It's only been 3 days and I'm ready to kill him!! LOL!! He's under my feet every time I turn around. When the weather clears up? He can go outside and work in the yard and not tell me how to do my housework!! He's been sending his resume out. Now we wait. You guys are great!! Love ya! (NT) -- Cathy F., 22:11:16 04/01/11 Fri
Wouldn't it be great not to have to "do taxes" like this ever again???? -- The Chief, 18:05:21 03/27/11 Sun
Yup! ~ $300 Billion! And that probably doesn't count the cost of caffeine and chocolate consumed by those doing preparations! Inside for some info.... -- The Chief, 08:15:33 03/28/11 Mon
Nature's Glory.... -- The Chief, 08:11:49 03/19/11 Sat [8]
And for anyone who questions whether this is really "in the wild", it is illegal in the US to hold a healthy Bald Eagle in captivity. The only ones you'll see in zoos, etc, are injured Eagles that cannot survive in the wild, AND the zoo or animal park has special Federal permission to house the Eagle. What Did You Want to Be? -- Araninda, 23:54:31 03/14/11 Mon [19]
I wanted to be a ballerina. (Jenks stop laughing.) After 9 yrs of lessons I stopped. I was good, but not good enough to make a career out of it. Then I got into sports and was going to be a PE teacher, but life took a left turn. I got married and went into retailing. Many Regrets. Old too soon. Smart too Late! (NT) -- Cathy F., 14:50:40 03/19/11 Sat
I wanted to be a nurse, I was positive that that's what I was going to do, until my mid twenties. Just before I applied for nursing school, I started to wonder if nursing was really for me, then I decided to become a Medical Assistant, I thought if I could handle that I could handle anything. My first job was for a pediatric orthopedic surgeon. He was part of a group practice that also had a PT group in the same building, as part of the group. The more I saw of the one on one patient care, and the positive aspect of the field itself, I was hooked.....Inside -- mkim, 14:19:26 03/21/11 Mon
Need advices -- Laurence, 04:19:26 03/02/11 Wed [8]
I've never had sciatica, but I know the pain my husband was in when he had it about 5 yrs ago. He walked like an old man, and I had to help him. Fortunatly, it went away after a few days and it hasn't returned. And I hear you about not sleeping. When that happens (like last Thursday,) I get up and get more work done than in the day. Mind you, I have to play sleep catch up for days after. (NT) -- Cece, 15:00:43 03/13/11 Sun
Thank you Cece ! (NT) -- Laurence, 05:51:52 03/19/11 Sat
Believe it, dg. There is something better down the road. I know you are bound to be disapointed, but try to stay positve. (NT) -- mkim Good Luck, kiddo., 17:08:32 03/10/11 Thu
