by " revell something " you certainly mean ' réveillon ' ( 24th December Xmas's eve ) Generally when we say to someone : " come pass the réveillon at our home " it's means come past the christmas eve at our home and we'll share a meal ( what your boss called ' midnight dinner ' ) . When it nearly is midnight we count the seconds till it's comes and wish to each other " bonne année !!! bonne santé !!! meilleurs voeux !!! " ( happy new year !!!!! have a good health !!!! best wishes !!! ) for the last ones in order you want !!!! For Christmas there are 2 mass the one at 9p.m and the one at midnight . The dinner is taken after the mass. ( after midnight ) : midnight dinner. ( repas du réveillon ) ( come in our home to celebrate the réveillon ). If you or someone else need more info, ask !!
