Subject: interesting questions - not sure what you're trying to figure out but here goes what little I can answer: Like a flea market anywhere , I never know what to expect. I've bought dolls lamp, kitchen canisters. A friend of mine bought miniature perfume bottles. I wished I could bring back some wonderful furniture. I've never been to a flea market in Paris so I haven nothing to comapre but many years ago I went to bracants(?) in suburban paris - more inside.

I love the french people, but I speak french and think that helps.

again it's been years since I'v been to france but I didn't find that many people spoke conversable english. Lots of people knew a little, but not that many enough to carry on a conversation.

as for prices - france is like New York City- expensive. It's been that way since my first trip in college thirty years ago.

that's about as much as I can help-

good luck!
