Subject: mkim update

mkim said I could post this. She had yet another surgery in Jan and is recovering very slowly. She's been fighting this for some years now. She was on chemo and then the surgery to remove tumors from her lung. She's home and on oxygen and can really use some cheering up.

So lets do what the HB does best which is giving support and love. Kim has been on the HB for many years and I've been fortunate to have met her twice. She's a really lovely lady and I know she'll beat this but it does take time. She's been through so much.

Sigh!

Also, if someone could find it, the book 'Surviving Has Made Me Crazy' by Mark Nepo is full of wonderful poems and reflections of a man who has undergone the dredges of surgeries, chemo, radiation, etc. It might help!

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you continue regaining health and strength. It was so nice to meet you and others years ago at Circle Centre. I enjoyed following the Super Bowl hoopla in Indy from afar. Out here in MA most people are Patriots fans, so I don't think they quite understood how excited Hoosiers were to host the Super Bowl even if our Colts weren't a part of it. Keep up your good spirits, get the proper rest, follow your doctors' and others' orders, and continue to get cheered by your Harmy Board friends.
