Subject: "Life's tough but I'm tougher"

That is the motto of a young woman (25 years old) in Pascagoula, MS (my hometown). Katie Blake and her brothers and sisters grew up with my children. Two years ago she dove into a creek and broke her spinal cord, she is now a quadrapedic. However that has not stopped her, as you can tell by her motto!

 I am sharing this for two reasons the first is to share the inspiration this young woman has become. The second is to ask for help. She is currently in an NMEDA (National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association) contest of Local Heros. Katy is our local hero! The winners (there will be at least 3) will receive a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle. Please read her inspiring story and if you feel so inclined please vote for Katy.(you can vote once a day- voting ends May 13th) Using the promo code 973 will get her more votes! Thanks for your help.
