Subject: There's a lot more to "country" than you might be aware. It's not all "twangy" stuff anymore. Much of it resembles 80s top-40 pop/rock now. Try to find a "songwriter's showcase" night at the Bluebird, etc. This is where you'll hear the good stuff.
