Subject: The magical season in Pittsburgh

Hey everyone, I know that everyone is getting ready for football, BUT, have you heard that we have a baseball team here in Pittsburgh? Really, after 20 long years of losing, the Pittsburgh Pirates are in first place in the NL Central division and have THE best record in MLB. It is so exciting here that no ne really cares about the Steelers! I am just so thrilled. I love baseball, especially the Pirates...my Mini Cooper is Black and Gold, not for he Steelers but for the Pirates.

On the other side, I an boycotting football this year. I m so very tired of people in this it's putting the Steelers before anything else. During last season, I saw my church change therapy and omega of e children's Christmas pagent because the Steelers had a late game. No one came to the Pagent, even thought it was early to accommodate those people. Then, there is the fact that one of the Steelers wives delivered their first child at the hospital I work at. Or nursing staff was treated horribly, not by the family but by the doctors and management that HAD to take care of them.

S, the chant around here is LET'S GO BUCS! Playoffs, here we come!
