Subject: Picks for Week Sixteen



Harm was out doing some last minute Christmas shopping and couldn't be reached for his picks. So in the spirit of the season and with apologies to Clement Clarke Moore (no disrespect intended), the rookie offers this holiday selection.

Twas the night before Christmas and all across the land
The harmy ladies were waiting to win a night with 'their man'

From Florida floozies to Texas tarts, Northwest wenches and a pesky Marine
Each had visions a certain Captain would soon treat them like a queen

And don't forget the gals down under or the ones across the sea
They also had high hopes a Navy man would be under their tree

There's just one thing left to do before he could be 'poofed' into their care
Have the most wins in the football pool and hope they didn't have to share

The rookie posted the picks, the decisions had been made
There's nothing more to do but wait for the games to be played

The whistles blew, the clocks started, the games had begun
Twenty two guys and two coaches made it all look like fun

To the thirty, to the twenty to the fifteen yard line
A pass, a run, a tackle, my teams are doing just fine

On Saints, on Bengals, Rams and Vikings too.
Or did I pick the Cowboys and the Steelers, Buccaneers, and Texans to break through

I've been good dear Santa, I've done my best
Please let my teams win, and I'll give you a rest

There's just one thing I want 'neath my tree
Harmon Rabb in mess dress and I'll be happy as can be

Of course he can be in winter blues, peanut butters, or summer whites
Oh, Harm in his boxers, you know what I like!

Hurry up Christmas I can hardly wait
I'm already for my prize, what is my fate?

If I don't win this week I know for a fact
They'll play again next week and you know I'll be back!



Game One has the New Orleans Saints (6-8) vs Dallas Cowboys (8-6)

Game Two is the Cincinnati Bengals (8-6) vs the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-7)

Game Three has the St. Louis Rams (6-7) vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-8)

Game Four finds the Minnesota Vikings (8-6) vs the Houston Texans (12-2)
