Author: Harm and the rookie
Subject: Picks for the final week of the regular season

It's the end of the regular season, with all games being played Sunday, New Years Day! The playoffs begin next week, with the final teams determined this week. Harm wanted to visit a few teams we haven't seen much this year and check in on a few teams needing to win to get into the playoffs.

Game one has Indianapolis Colts (2-13) against the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-11) . Neither team is headed to the playoffs, however the game is not trivial as both teams are looking to end the year on a high note.

Game two finds the Tennessee Titans (8-7) facing the Houston Texans (10-5) . Houston is in the playoffs, but Tennessee needs to not only win to get in but needs help from other teams as well. A long shot, but then on an given Sunday!

Game three has the Seattle Seahawks (7-8) meeting the Arizona Cardinals (7-8) . Both teams had hoped this game would be for a wild card slot, however you know what they say about "hopes and wishes". No playoff game for either team but the winner will be second in the NFC West.

Game four is the San Diego Chargers (7-8) taking on the Oakland Raiders (8-7). San Diego is already looking toward next year, however the Raiders need to win if they want to play next week. But a win won't be all they need, they also need a little help from their "friends".

Bonus Game five has the Dallas Cowboys (8-7) facing the New York Giants (8-7) . On Sunday night, this is THE game of the week. It's simple winner goes to the playoffs as the NFC East champion and the loser goes home.
