Subject: AFC - NFC Championship Games

It's time to crown the NFC and the AFC Champions. Each team has fought to get here, endured injuries, personal changes, difficult schedules all for a shot at the Championship and a chance to play in the Super Bowl. Harm is excited about the four teams that will be playing Sunday and has told me the person(s) that guesses the winners for both games AND guesses the correct score (or be the closes) will win TWO nights with him! Guess one winner correctly and you win one night with Harm. So are you feeling lucky this week?



NFC Championship is between the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers have met 181 times in the NFL's longest standing rivalry dating back to 1921. They have only met once in a play off situation and that was Dec. 14, 1941. The Chicago Bears have nine NFC championships and one Super Bowl win in 1986. The Green Bay Packers have twelve championships (most in the NFL) and three Super Bowl wins, 1967, 1968, 1997.



AFC Championship is between the New York Jets and the Pittsburgh Steelers . The New York Jets have one championship and one Super Bowl win, both coming in 1968. The Pittsburgh Steelers, the oldest franchise in the AFC, is not a stranger to the championship trophy, having won it seven times. They have won the Super Bowl six times, the last being in 2009.



So there you have it, the final four teams, only two can go to the Super Bowl. This week you need to pick the two teams that will win but also what you think the final scores will be. (ie Packers, 24-7; Steelers 21-3). Who knows you might win two nights with Harm! Post your picks before the first game Sunday afternoon and check back Monday to see if you've won!
