Subject: I thought Christina Aguilera's performance of the National Anthem was the most horrible thing I've heard since Roseanne Barr's infamous disrespectful performance a few years ago. It makes me appreciate the job Sheryl Crowe did at the MLB All-Star game in 2009 even more. We actually turned the half-time show about 3 minutes in and watched America's Funniest Home Videos until the game started back.

  • I sometimes wonder what singers are thinking. I heard singers have the option to lipsync or sing live, Christina sang live and for that she gets me respect, however her "version" was not to my likeing, but then I much prefer a marching band playing it or a men's choir singing it.
