(She had arched a brow as the lass blushed and suddenly disappeared from the patio, trying not to let her imaginiation fill in what had made her so nervous.. surely as newlyweds the two of them had sampled a great deal of the furniture at Kilgour. When the girl returned and started talking, her eyes only widened a bit more in shock and then she laughed at the idea of this wee spitfire changing the keep's locks..) Och, yer the spittin image of me at yer age, I think we coulda been twins, lass.. although I wouldna let a simple thing such as pregnancy get in the way when ye've got such a braw young lad sleepin next to ye... (She narrowed her gaze just a bit in a thoughtful way.) Ye are at least in the same room, aren't ye? (She asked, although the answer didn't matter a bit since she was already plotting to have the two of them desperate for each other.) When Loch and I first handfasted I felt the same way about gettin pregnant, in fact we waited four years before the lads.. I'll talk to Adelaide and Jailynn and see if we can't get you some birth control pills.. we doona need em anymore. (He had been about to speak when Mairah flustered her way across the room and then back with the drinks, a brow cocked and a semi-amused and semi-worried expression on his handsome features. He was smiling when he looked over at Loch again.) She blushed like that all the time.. still so young. (He shook his head a little bit and swirled the scotch in his glass in an idle manner.) When we were over at my da's keep, he threatened to take her from me if she didn't get down on her knees and get me off in front of all his men.. (He let the anger win over the sorrow, since Loch was right, it didn't pay to feel sorry for yourself.. that time was over and they had to work on the future.) Above everything else that made me mad that day I think it was seeing her so embarassed later that night wondering if she had done it right..
