The blush only flared more brightly at the other womans blunt words and she had to raise a hand to her lips, her eyes widening as she felt her face heat. "I think I would like a drink...I'll bring ye something also." With that she hurried into the keep, through where the boys were, knowing they had to see her flaming face made her hurry through to get two drinks and calm down her shy side to go back out to Rhia. Handing the glass of sweet lemonade to the other woman, she sat back down, her lip tucked between her teeth. "We haven't been together...like that since the night we handfasted..." She murmured, her brow furrowed as she dropped her hands to the ground. "I told him I didna want to get pregnant and tis true, I do nary wish to be stuck with a man whom I do not care about just because I have his bairn." She stated honestly, her brow furrowed. "I have no idea how this handfasting is going to go...one moment I think he's the sweetest man in the entire world and the next I am changing the locks on the keep so he canna get back in.." He knew that feeling all to well, he had let down his own wife numerous times. "Aye, donna most of the plans we lay out backfire?" He questioned with a small laugh, shrugging his shoulders. "The only thing we can do lad, is to keep lovin' those lasses and takin' care of them the best we can...though no man is perfect and things are bound to happen..tis taken me a long time to learn that something are beyond my control." His head cocked to the side when he spoke of the agents, his brow raised. "If ye can get the agents to vouch for ye, ye would have a better case with most of the lads here...show that ye are trustworthy if the americans trust you." He looked up for a moment, his brow furrowed though an amused smile played on his lips when he saw the furiously blushing Mairah bustle through the room.
