He has a lawsuit because it has been proven that the board of works members were biased. It as also been proven that he was disciplined once by his employee for this same infraction.

As for breaking the law....what law was he convicted of breaking? Being charge and being convicted are two separate things. Even most of the charges were dropped. Conversion is what the city attorney is claiming as basis for firing. Doug's attorney proved that just about every officer has committed conversion.

Did you know that the assistant chief coaches sport in Aurora while on duty? That is conversion. Getting paid for working while actually doing something else.
