The woman who threw the baby repeatedly for days grew up in Lawrenceburg, as well as her husband. I believe he is now her former husband. Her mother-in-law (or former) is a member of the Dearborn County Government. Although the woman lived in Warren County when she committed the heinous crime, her family and especially her mother-in-law are well known in the area, as well as the woman. This story was on every news channel in Cincinnati, as well as many other news media across the country. However, I don't think it was in any news media in Dearborn County and my guess would be because of the mother-in-law. You can google Deerfield Township woman throws baby and you will get many, many articles about it. Media in Lawrenceburg report on many things out of the community but there was no reporting on this. How sad that a woman threw a baby she was babysitting over and over, the baby had to be resuscitated, was in the hospital for quite awhile and nothing reported in Lawrenceburg media. Not surprising though.
