This is not a new issue- "double dipping", the Hatch Act questions, and other matters that have arisen before. In the big scheme it is good that a stop has been imposed on a lot of these issues.
This is a reminder too of what a uniform means, police or otherwise. It usually comes with a lot of do's and don'ts that a person has to be mindful of. This is not the worst thing some of us have seen by someone in uniform for sure.
Our County does need to crack down on things that are not right but have gone on. If they pursue this matter, perhaps next step will be to explore other allegations brought up by Mr. Taylor?
