Mr. or Mrs. Funny, thank you for your response. I am not sure why you think I'm backing Callahan, I am still undecided... I do not know Callahan or Ridgeway. I can't give a formal opinion of either one proffessionally. If Callahan and/or Ridgeway has any "dirt" as you put it, Please advise. You suggested that I keep her appearance out of the campaign. I am not part of any campaign... I know what I have witnessed in the field, It is not professional nor respectful to enter ones home, representing my and your county, in the attire she was wearing. Evans also expressed her thought's in regard to a Surgeon. It is of my opinion/fact that she only began responding again to Coroner calls when "Dog" pressed her to make a bid for the seat. I have went back through all of the post's and can't find anywhere that Callahan had posted anything, much less claiming he was cleaning house. I am also familiar with IC 36-2-14-23. The Indiana code should be revised. I hear everyone's response about being certified. I would be surprised if Ridgeway, Callahan or any of the other person that were interested in taking the MDI class could take it and didn't. It is to no fault of their own, that the state has set the date's of the class after the election. And only twice a year. It's like the ol' comment, Which came first? The chicken or the egg? I would also make comments about the other candidates, if in my research, I could find anything they have posted. If you could help me find such misleading comments? It would give me a better informed opinion. And then and only then I could make a clear, decisive and responsible choice on who will deserve my vote. You also stated "Who will be the death scene investigator until he (hopefully) passes the class? Who will know how to fill out a death certificate? What about all of the other duties? My response is, You would think that the incumbent would take one for his party, (I thought he was a republican), and ease this transition. Apparently "Dog" sides with whatever party that will be in his best interest. In closing, it was not my intension to sling anything all over the place. I was just stating what I have observed in the field. It's not malicious if it's true! Respectfully, Lawrenceburg, E.M.T.
