You need to wake up, my friend. Fascism is upon us even as we speak. The federal government is deciding winners and losers, and with every administration it becomes more blatant. The current administration is the most brazen of all, raping the bond holders who should have been first in line when GM came unglued. Instead, in violation of the rules that govern the way failed companies are handled, they turn the company over to their friends in the Unions. Meanwhile, Immelt prowls the halls of the White House as our Jobs Czar, while GE gobbles at the government trough, pushing "Green Technologies" that they profit from under the false flag of saving the planet. And then, the Job Czar sends thousands of U.S. jobs overseas... and no one says a word.
Now the election season is upon us again, and your solution is to 'fix' government. It just needs to be cleaned up. Get rid of fraud, waste and abuse and all will be right with the nation again. It's just that our "government needs to be more efficient". I tell you our government is very efficient at doing what it has been redesigned to do. It has concentrated power so that it is easily bought. Left or Right when so few control so much, money controls it all. If you think what we have is "Free Market" or that somehow anybody in Washington will change it so that it is, you are kidding yourself. The only solution is to rip the powers the constitution wisely denied them from their hands and return those functions to the states. I hold no illusions that money will not migrate from the D.C. to the State House, but at least We The People will stand a fighting chance. So clear your head of any illusion that government is here to help you - they are here to enslave you. Yes, the Big Government Right wants you to work cheap and will allow foreign nationals to invade our country to do it if you won't, but the Big Government Left will enslave you in dependency. Don't worry about a job, unemployment for all forever. Don't worry about medical care - we know what's best for you. It will all be alright, we'll put a drone up over your neighborhood to make sure things go the way we think they should. Just give up and let us make all the decisions for you, hell, we will even decide what lunches you give your kids to eat. And don't listen to those old fogies in your church, we know better than they do what's ok for folk in your religion to believe and how they should behave. Of course, we have to know what you are doing all of the time to protect you from yourself, just ask the TSA the next time you plan on traveling... or going to a ball game... or work. And just in case you don't want to go along with Big Government Left, there are always all of those foreign nationals that can be made into voters, so keep them coming...
So if you want to be a slave, deprived of your God Given Rights by a tyrannical government, just keep voting for the same folk. Go ahead and vote for a delusional RINO who thinks that killing our energy markets with Cap and Trade is a grand idea. He wants all Indiana farmers to do what he did. Don't grow those nasty old soybeans. Corn is so passe. Plant WALNUT TREES and cash in on carbon credits. Jump on the government dole for farms with crappy land that couldn't turn a profit anyway - sign up for CRP (of course, there isn't really enough money on the planet, and certainly not in Indiana's current Crappy Rural Property subsidies to go around). Think I'm making this up? Try Lugar's own website. When we are all starving and huddled around our burning walnut trees to keep warm, come on back and tell me what a great champion of the people Lugar is.
Me, I'm going to try Mourdock this time around.
