But never mind the prosecutor. I PRAY the commissioners who voted "yes' to this 12 MILLION dollar boondoggle (Liz, how could you?) get voted out of office. The jail expansion is the most backwards-looking, self-serving, unimaginative disgrace of a public project in Indiana.

The Commissioners will have squandered MILLIONS of dollars that could be better spent on roads, sewers, the Arts, education, parks, infrastructure, etc.-things that might actually ATTRACT investment and have a positive impact on our community- so they can, what? - Look tough on so-called crime?

The jail expansion stinks. At its best it whiffs of a political body that lacks vision or a grasp of our collective future. At its worst it reeks of small town fools with new money.
