I've been told for years how corrupt our County is. Is it true?
I was told by an outside attorney (not Mr. Miller or DC) that Dearborn County Court is months behind and has many more cases to handle than other Counties. (He was giving them a pass). People do wait for months, sometimes in jail, while victims also wait. Miller and others have voiced the opinion that the problems, delays are worse because of our own system and it's management.
I wouldn't want to be in a Dearborn County Court for any reason. There seems to be no regard for the impact misinformation and errors of the system may have on those involved, guilty or innocent. Plaintiff or Defendant.
Maybe we can't do better, but I would like to see some effort.
More power to Mr. Miller if he wants to try to improve the system.
