It is not enough that they will receive $120,000 a year of our money. The contributions I made to the Shelter were made there specifically to not go to PAWS. They were made to go to the care of animals not the social club that helps animals along the way. Giving our contributions to PAWS takes money away from the needs of the Animal Control, which is still the county's responsibility. Animal Control needs trucks, equipment and supplies to do their job and the 97 fund should be retained for that.
