I went to Dan's trial because I am relentlessly curious. I wanted to see the dates, times, acts, sightings, or places he was supposedly present, indicating the real reason for arresting him, as certainly I thought it had to be more than his criticism of Mr. Negangard or others.
I could not believe it was only blogging, and other veiled but unproven innuendos of "danger lurking" to land him in jail with that huge bond.
No offense to the victims, and I cringe due to my respect for Judge Humphrey and others, but this was a crock to arrest and put this man in jail.
I am afraid of real bullies and acts of violence and would hate Dan if I thought he actually did or considered any acts to harm anyone of our authorities.
I have our dead Gypsy Hound, fear of future aggression, as well as chest pain, and stress reactions to prove I know EXACTLY what intimidation and bullies are all about. Our County overlooks much of what I call Good Ole Boy behavior, including unlawfulness and disrespect even from authorities. They are laughing at this because they think they are above being accountable. It's plain evil. And yes it is a game to some of them, just as Dan called it in his blog. He said "This game will not end well" This was one of the big threats.
I use words Just like Dan because I am a passifist. I have probably been just as frustrated and misguided over our need to resolve my apprehension as Dan has been over the way things were dealt to him by his divorce. I have written nearly as many letters to get things done. This is not a crime.
I have been in Hell holes in other countries where opinion and speech suppression is S.O.P.. I was so happy to come back to the USA where I felt our system did not interfere with individual opinion or attempts for justice. Have we crossed over the line to become a repressive Country just like the regimes we criticize? I was also unaware that expression of objection or displeasure with results AFTER a trial could be considered obstruction of justice.
Will it ever matter to Judge Hill in sentencing that they did not even establish his presence near the victims? Shouldn't it matter that they actually had to willingly log on to his blog to seek out his rantings?
What justified his the long stint in jail with the huge bond? What about the drive by accusation, along with some of the other things they "fear", but that have not happened.
I did not think that jail or a trial could be pre emptive when no threatening act had occurred. I was wrong.
