Hello Lawrenceburg! I found out some new things this evening. The records of grants and loans made by the city are terrible and unaccessible from the clerk-treasurer's office. The city's bank accounts do not match the reports filed with the state board of accounts. There are funds not accounted for in the clerk-treasurer's office. So I have questions:
1. Do they know how to balance the city's accounts? What are their qualifications?
2. Why haven't the LCD's board members been removed for theft? If you paid yourself extra from your job, what would happen to you?
3. Why does Mario Todd, Mike Clark and Carl Fryman decide so many projects for the city? How much do they receive?
4. Why doesn't the council bring in a reputable accounting firm to audit its accounts? Are they afraid?
5. Who controls the city's credit cards? The monthly charges are criminal.
6. Do the citizens get to see the new contracts for specific individuals? We pay our taxes...
7. How are these new contracts voted on? Several were backed doored through different boards in executive meetings after losing in open meetings.
