Here are some real examples of what our 1st amendment allows.

-The female politician who use "crosshairs" and hate speak to "highlight' the strength of her campaign". Did anyone take her to court? No. Freedom of expression.
-The hateful jokes and questionable comments exchanged daily about every Commander and Chief we elect is tolerated. Is this disrespectful and even threatening? I think so.
-"Hillary Clinton is a lesbian", is this a true statement? Have you slept with her? Govt. does not go after those who make these comments. Is it criminal to say this, or should it be a civil matter?
-Even children of political figures and wives are called ugly and ridiculed, and whereabouts publicly disclosed, but you don't see our govt. going after people.
-Protests of war, protests of abortion, criticism of anything or everything.
We are allowed the right to express our opinions-even if it tweaks the ego of those in high places.
Dearborn County has shown no tolerance for criticism of the system, constructive or otherwise. They have spent countless amounts of time and money of taxpayers to shut this man up and discourage/frighten others. It has drawn a lot of attention to them, more than it has the person who appears to be suffering from a radical life changing experience in the courts and the jail. It certainly appears as if they need to be looked at right alongside their scrutiny and sentencing of Dan.
