It is hard to accept this arraignment story, and hiring a "hit" without further evidence or scrutiny or proof.
As far as some of the other of Dan's comments or actions:
Lots of people joke about being pyromaniacs ( usually around the 4th of July). Friends of ours, even doctors and lawyers have joked about pyro. tendencies while we are all setting off fireworks to entertain.
Another point: If I got divorced, I can guarantee that my husband might give me the shirt off his back, but he would NEVER give me a gun like a 357. I think it is typical that most men would not give up the guns, (unless they are junk or something insignificant-then only maybe).
I wonder how many law enforcement officers if going through a divorce would give leave the guns to her, even if told to. They might leave a junky old one, or a little "bedside" model, but probably not, especially if their EX hates them.
