I concur with your assessment that the only clear choice for those who have entrenched themselves in this fight is to convict Dan at any cost or have him simply go away. The price of him being acquitted has become too high. Nothing surprises me at this point. We have already seen manufactured evidence that can't be proven introduced in this case. They have completely denied him his due process rights and wiped their asses with the constitution.
