He held her tightly, resting his cheek against her head as he closed his eyes and inhaled her scent once more. "I know, baby, I know..." He murmured softly, wrapping the blanket tighter around her as he spoke quietly. "Haylie will take you up to headquarters while I am gone, that way you won't be missin' Skeeter or any of the other guys...maybe Cael will head back this way while I am gone and you can hang out with him..." He was still a little worried about his Scottish friend, unsure of where he had disappeared too and Remy was being tight lipped about it all. Still, he knew that his friends would keep her busy and her mind occupied. "Maybe you'll be able to babysit Chase a couple times for Remy, you know Shay would love to get here and there..." He was just trying to think of things to keep her busy. "I don't...I don't want you to be angry with me for leaving..." He murmured softly, looking down at her. Keegan had talked about how she would throw fits when he left but she had been younger than and less mature than she was now....but still he didn't want her upset or angry with him.
