(As she listened to him speak, she resolved herself to being as mature as she could about this, not making him worry or concern himself with her welfare when he should be paying attention to his own safety. She had spent so many nights feeling guilty over the fact that her last time with Keegan had been a screaming, crying, chaotic mess and she didn't intend on letting that happen again. She was too old to whine and moan about things she couldn't change. She lifted her head to gaze at him, her head tipped a little and her eyes soft.) I'm not angry, Braden.. I knew someday you would have to go away.. I guess I just need a little time to get used to the idea, s'all. (She murmured, trying to reassure him since she had been the one to make him worry. Suddenly she realized that she was sitting in his lap.. that he had no shirt on.. and that she liked it entirely too much for her own good. Her eyes widened a little as awareness crept into them, and she told herself she was going to bolt as soon as she got her body working in time with her head..)
