I definitely think it has a lot more to do with JB's "powers" than the fact that he froze the bank accounts of Malluce. I know that JB is very powerful, whatever he is, and he resents the fact (especially at first) that he actually needs Mac's help to locate the Fae items. -- DARKFEVER

We have all mentioned at one time or another that JB seems to have lived a long time - much longer than his 30 or so years. He talks about the blessings of brevity to Mac (I think after the Gray Man kills that woman), like he has first hand experience with the hells of longevity. Anyway, those are my thoughts.
