I agree with Lynn - I don't think his assurance came from the bank account thing - I think he knew he would walk out alive because he couldn't die. We have all mentioned at one time or another that JB seems to have lived a long time - much longer than his 30 or so years. He talks about the blessings of brevity to Mac (I think after the Gray Man kills that woman), like he has first hand experience with the hells of longevity. Anyway, those are my thoughts. I think he was risking Mac's life by taking her to Malluce, but little else, -- DARKFEVER
