Linda by BP you mean British gov't pensions? Not BP as in British Petrolium,if it is the goverment pension you are mad at, then go onto the CABP website and you will find all kinds of knowledgeable people to go to bat for you. Something is not right if your Dad was paying into the pension plan for a number of years, 11years gets you a quarter pension or approx 19 pounds per week at the very least, don;t let it drop the goverment like to try you on to see what they can get away with, Good Luck Hamish
