He was just going to turn 67 (2 years after his Pension age)when he passed on. Anyway a letter was received from the SAAF then (1977) telling him that they were also backdating his Pension to 1975 (he was now of course allreday deceased) So he had lost out on quite a bit of back pay,and not that it mattered at all none of that money was ever seen.
