I have learned that Scottish etc poppies do not have a/the petal and I suppose many follow suit, but where petals/leaves do adorn our poppies. May we all ensure that the leaf/petal is in the 11.00 position. Out of respect. May all in Britain not only adorn yourselves in future without thought and commitment. Or wear poppies as it is the right thing to do etc, but show in future that you understand. Set your poppy to 11.00 as in 11/11. Just a small recognition of not only a sign of modern times and a seemingly or fashionable wearing that but we do care and understand. No more adhoc wearing of a floral display, from Flanders Field. Lets prove our worthiness and our commitme3nt to remembering those that helped save us all. In future to show that we remember, wear and tell all that if a leaf/petal is on/behind your poppy, display it at 11/11. LEST WE FORGET.
