Vernon
I have been at events where both times have been observed. I live in a village & we usually have 2 minutes - with the Last Post sounded by someone from the village Silver Band. Does it really matter how long? In busier places - cities/towns - 2 minutes can be a long time & surely the important thing is to remember in SILENCE, If the last few seconds are going to be spoilt by a certain abount of shuffling etc. then I see no reason not to keep it to 1 minute. As long as we take a time to remember.
Connie.
