brian,
here is part of the editorial from the above magazine.
it states that a person visited the internet and was advised to look at a certain forum, this person did not name the forum, where retired seamen can enter and take part in the on site communications, this person states.
the most worrying aspects of what he was reading were the comments about former colleagues.he goes on,its one thing sitting in a pub and exchange reminiscences, possibly critical and even defamatory remarks, about former colleagues.
he states,if he would publish such comments in his magazine,he would need a good lawyer.
some of the comments,he says, could cause distress to friends and relatives of the victim of the comments or even the victim himself/herself.
he goes on to say, that he finds it astonishing that these remarks are allowed carry on in a hurtful and damaging way and most of all being made public.
i do not think it is your site brian but another one,its a shame to know that there is a similar site out there, with the same kind of people causing upsetting problems for everyone else.
chris
