Feel sure that BP tankers had Eddystone radios in messrooms. Two broadcasts come to mind, one during 4-8 on British Commander reporting the Man U air crash, another on the Baron Belhaven , with mainly a Scots crew listened to Eng v Scot football which Eng won 9-4. Strange thing was that we listened to it Saturday (possibly Sunday) afternoon live yet were in the Pacific. Something to do with date line me thinks. Ken.
