Was running between there and B.A. in1947-48 onthe Empire Halberd taking D.P.'s to a new life in Argentina. Iwas a deck boy then, a bit wet behind the ears, but not for long after visiting those ports.Left the sea in 1958 but like most of us dreaming of it ever since.Nearly conked out last year but fooled everybody and still bore anybody stiff who will listen to me.
