Date Posted: 21/10/13 5:07am My father Arthur Ernest Bailey was not only the son of Mr and Mrs W.G.Bailey but was also the wife of my mother Ella Bailey, nee Woodward. His service medals were sent to his mother and I had to apply for them when I discovered that they had not been sent to his wife and as his eldest son I was able to make a claim some 40 years later.
