Date Posted: 29/11/07 7:56pm Just to raise a subject, Can someone explain, "Deadweight" "Gross weight," "Displacement" and "tonnage?" And while I'm at it. Why did ships still have two tall masts long after the days of sail? And if the Union flag is only the Union Jack when flying from the Jack staff.
