[> Subject: SII first group-some really good speakers in this group. Grapevine, Plano, Border city and Harris County were all good. Last night's talent winner, South Lake, gave a really good answer as well, she has a LOT of presence. I am seriously keeping an eye on her for Miss Texas.

[> Subject: It cannot be helped, but this teen portion is turning into a disaster. The last 3 contestants have not been able to properly perform their talent. South Lake (who won last night) couldn't sing her song, the next contestant was playing the violin with an accompliament and the last teen just had to stop.

[> Subject: Red carpet-Dallas and Carrollton were the standouts in this group. I would have to give the edge to Dallas but could see it going to Carrollton as well. Both very red carpet. Best part of the competition was when Miss East TX came out one her princesses was in a wheelchair and she knelt down to greet her. It was a very nice moment. Anna is autistic, talked about it last night during OSQ and she seems like a great young woman.
