Subject: MISS TN VOLUNTEER NIGHT 3 REVIEW

It seems like the night 2 preliminaries were not recorded, so I can only do nights 1 and 3. It was a busy night, they announced the new executive directors of Miss TN Volunteer, the Sparks family. They took over the Alderson duties, but Jane also got a legacy award. They had the same hostesses, and Alexa also made an appearance. She is going to work with autistic children at Vanderbilt University Hospital, which I think is very touching. Great representative for the program.

The competition was every bit as good in SS and gown, but the talent went down a bit. Swimsuit was really competitive. In SS, I had Queen City, Hack City (I still do not know how to spell that) Madison County, Memphis and TN Valley at the top, they all had great presentations. Talent was not too many pickings for the win. I thought possibly Nashville, she had a decent voice but the performance wasn't great. Paris sang decently as well, I had those two the highest. Evening gown was also very strong. Leading that I had Humboldt in a pretty blue gown, Knoxville, who looked very red carpet and Delta Blues looked very good as well. But they all did, it was a great competition. Very glamorous!

Since I will be watching the conclusion TX prelims tomorrow night, I will watch the final night on Friday night and post then. Just pretending like this didn't happen yet, I am going to comment on what I think might happen. Anyone who has followed the program in TN over the last 15 years or so know that it is a pay your dues/wait until your time comes around state. The heir apparent is Noelle Thompson or possibly Katie Hodges and from what I have seen, they are both there to win. However, I see some other possibilities. I didn't get to see night 2 which is unfortunate, but I think some other contestants like Knoxville and Memphis have been coming on strong.

Here is my top 15 based on the 2 nights:

Queen City
Knoxville
Jackson
Lane College
TN Soybean Festival
Memphis
TN Valley
Nashville
Huck City
Delta Blues
Davidson County (only to15)
Paris
Shelby County
Tristar

I will find out soon enough!
