I would say Southeast TX was the best of the preliminary winners. Grapevine and Plano really looked elegant with great gowns and presentations. I liked Park Cities as well. [> Subject: We had a TALENT competition! Best talents I have collectively seen at a state pageant in YEARS. South Lake KILLED agin with That's Life. KILLED. Grapevine very solid performance of Think of Me. Carrollton strong with On My Own. Piney Woods very heartfelt and great perforance. They are going top 5 after intermission. I am guessing Grapvine who is really having a strong night,SouthLake,Carrollton, Southeast TX, and fifth I am not sure. [> Subject: Wow. This is a TOUGH decision. South Lake nailed her onstage question and Carrollton also answered her second question fantastically. IMO South Lake performed the best tonight and Carrollton is their true chance at a Miss America. It is cliched but they really do have a tough job tonight. Park Cities redeemed her earlier bad answer, she was very natural. I am going to not predict the winner but I would say 4th RU Forth Worth, 3rd runner-up Park Cities, 2nd RU Southeast TX and the winner I really do not know.
