Here is a lovely write-up about Pam: https://www.nj.com/entertainment/2022/07/former-miss-america-pamela-eldred-robbins-dead-at-74.html The author Frank DeFord, in his book "There She Is, The Life and Times of Miss America" also wrote a lot of positive things about Pam. It is a great read and can be found on sites like Ebay. I have read Hilary's books and I highly recommend her latest book Here She Is, in which she gives a thorough look back at the evolution of pageants throughout the United States.
