I'm not the worst thing in these tunnels." He took out a pack of cigarettes and nodded to them. He was politely asking if she minded if he smoked and he promised to keep the smoke downwind of her. "Besides, I'm kind of curious as to where you are going so late in the day and with such a hurried step." She had moved the pendant from her neck and could see the burn marks. "Just...set it farther away from me." .:.
