Subject: Unless the State ED knows in advance and the numbers are there, 4 contestants for each Title, you cannot arbitrarily just Give a Title! How did Amelia M receive a Title if she was already Sherrie's Titleholder. Ashley has Field Directors that have no clue. Based on what happened at their pageant!

If Amelia relinquished Her previous title she can compete for one of the other two titles. (NT)No name07:25:30 02/22/16 Mon

I think it may be you who has no clue. The reason Amelia is eligible is because Miss Springfield is closed. She only competed for Miss Springfield, and this is because she was ineligible for Miss Central Illinois, as the previous titleholder. She had to relinquish that title in order to compete, which she did. At the local director's meeting, the rules were addressed regarding a titleholder being allowed to compete in the same pageant, but for a different title. It was read straight from the licensing agreement. The Field Directors and the Local Directors know the rules MAO has set forth. The bottom line is this: no rules were broken in the crowning of Miss Springfield. (NT)No name09:45:51 02/22/16 Mon
