Does anyone else think the reporter was building an argument to characterize AS with the following?
1. "Amalia3" license plate=narcissist
2. Parking wherever she wants=rude
3. Big house for a flight attendant and hubby as Treasurer=embezzling

But mainly, the most solid "evidence" (some hearsay) and the main point was her psychological abuse of Winners was ignored by Miss America? I don't understand why one would expect a higher level of integrity my MAO when they in fact receive a large annual kickback from the Children's Miracle Network. Shame on them.

All in all, at the state and national levels there needs to be a total change in problem resolution and financial disclosure--no more spouses as Treasurers. And IMHO they've got to stop calling these 24 year old women/ladies "girls" and saying "it's a job." If it were a job there would be DOL protections, which clearly, there are not.

Actually every single miss Illinois Amalia has had has stepped up. Not to media. That was only Marisa. But in general! I'm a former volunteer and I know that for sure! (NT)No name16:35:48 07/30/15 Thu

Yes- some formers know how to remain calm and when asked, tactfully they state their case. This approach is the approach used by the more mature ladies who learned quickly how and when to choose their battles and therefore retain credibility (NT)No name16:51:50 07/30/15 Thu

Didn't WGN approach her coming out of the 'secret meeting'. I think she was VERY diplomatic and well spoken. A class act. So is her father. (NT)No name18:17:42 07/30/15 Thu
